Hongkong, 24th June, 1901.

In reply to your letter of the 19th inst.,
I am directed to refer you to my letter No.1479 of the
20th instant, and to inform you that His Excellency
the Governor has requested the Secretary of State to
reply by telegram to his despatch of the 22nd of last
April concerning the construction of the New Dock of
the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Company.
